Gigi's Beef Chili

Ingredients
2 pounds Ground Beef
1 pound Hot Breakfast Sausage
1 Onion, diced
1 Green Bell Pepper, diced
1 Jalapeño, diced
5 cloves Garlic, diced
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Black Pepper
2 teaspoons Oregano
2 teaspoons Cumin
1 1/2 tablespoons Chili Powder
1 can Rotel Tomatoes & Chilis
1 can Diced Tomatoes
1 can Chopped Green Chilis
1 tablespoon Sugar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire
2 tablespoons Ketchup
1 can Chili Beans (optional)
For Garnish:
Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Onion, diced
Pickled Jalapeño Slices
Yellow Mustard
Chow Chow
Corn Chips
Preparation
Brown the beef and sausage over medium high heat. Drain off the excess grease.
Add the onions, bell pepper, garlic, & jalapeño. Stir over the heat for a few minutes.
Add the salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, & chili power. Stir to combine & then add the remaining ingredients.
Simmer for about 10 minutes, then cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with desired toppings.
Delicious served on hotdogs or with Frito chips.
